Aloe Vera soothes and moisturises chapped lips
This aloe vera lip balm is made with 99% natural ingredients, including beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, and, of course, aloe vera.
Did you know Aloe Vera contains more than 200 bioactive compounds (such as minerals, amino acids and vitamins) to aid nutrient absorption in the body? This includes antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin A and C. Chapped lips can be painful and uncomfortable, often caused by dryness, and sometimes from inflammation.
Shea butter and coconut oil for extra hydration
We've also included other fantastic natural ingredients renowned for their moisture-restoring properties, such as shea butter and coconut oil.
Shea butter is naturally full of high levels of oleic, linoleic and stearic acids, which combine to fight environmental toxins, and help generate new skin cells.
We've included coconut oil because as well as its well-known moisturising properties, this ingredient also has anti-microbial effects, which can be extra beneficial if your lips are cracked or damaged.
Beeswax base
Have you ever used a well-known lip balm (made from petroleum jelly) for your dry lips and found no matter how often you re-apply it, your lips don't seem to be getting any better? This is because lips that are already dry and chapped need both a humectant AND an occlusive moisturiser. Our aloe vera lip balm is made with a beeswax base (the occlusive) and aloe vera (humectant), which means that moisture is both drawn to the affected area by the aloe vera and then the beeswax forms a protective barrier to lock in that hydration.
We opted for a beeswax base as it's a natural and well-known lip balm ingredient that doesn't contain harmful minerals, petroleum or paraffin.

Apply directly to lips as often as required.
