Duck is an excellent source of protein and several vitamins and minerals. It's also rich in vitamin B5, which plays an important role in extracting valuable nutrients from food, and a critical role in maintaining the health of our nervous system. Although duck contains a higher fat content, it's still a great source of nutrients and as always, is best to consume organic. Other micronutrients that duck contains are selenium, iron and niacin. Niacin, otherwise known as vitamin B3, helps to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system as well as balancing blood cholesterol levels. Selenium on the other hand helps prevent damage to cells and tissue and helps the immune system to work properly.

A rich source of: vitamin B5, niacin, iron, selenium.
