The custard is a total winner and less than 1g carbs per serving. Please remember the fat can be your friend following this lifestyle and treats like custard can be enjoyed. It's hard not to eat the whole lot at once. It is thick and creamy with a delightful hint of sweet vanilla. The perfect accompaniment to a homemade low carb pie or crumble. It can be made in advance and re-heated or will keeping the fridge for up to four days. We recommend using the best quality eggs you can, with a deep orange yolk, to give this custard all the ooh's and ahh's it deserves.
