If you like mussels and love Thai food, this is a must. Works great as a main or a starter.



  • Mussels (500g)
  • Coconut Milk (Can)
  • Fish sauce (2 tsp)
  • Lime sauce (1 tsp)
  • Garlic (4 cloves)
  • Coriander (Handful)
  • shallots

How to make broth

Clean and de-beard the mussels.

Fry up the garlic and shallots in oil and then add all other ingredients and stir. While its warming, bring a saucepan to a boil, then add in the mussels and cover. Reduce heat to moderate and stir occasionally. Keep an eye on the mussels and wait for them to open fully, about 3 to 6 minutes.
