Word on the street is that these waffles are known as "chaffles". However, I am using a couple of different ingredients and I believe this makes all the difference in giving them the bread like consistency that we all crave. If you would like to make them then I suggest grabbing a pack of konjac konjac flour from our website. It really does transform these waffles. You will also need a waffle maker.

Ingredients

  • cheddar cheese (50g, grated)
  • large egg
  • greek yoghurt (50g)
  • fresh chives (optional) (1 tsp chopped)
  • konjac fibre flour

Method

Preheat your waffle machine.
In to a mixing bowl, place grated cheese, egg and yoghurt. Mix together well. Now add in the fibre flour and stir together to form a thicker batter.
Please do not add extra fibre flour as it will be too much. 6g is the maximum you will need.
Carefully open your waffle maker and place batter in. Shut the lid and allow to cook for approximately 5 minutes.
Once cooked, carefully remove and enjoy!
