This is a take on the delicious Wagamama's Bang Bang Cauliflower. It is so delicious that you will wish you had made twice as much! In-fact, that is exactly what I now do. The instructions below are for 1 large cauliflower, but if you want to cook 2 and either eat it once cooked, or place in the fridge for a few days, just double everything up.
Ingredients
Cauliflower
- Cauliflower (1 large)
- Fibre Flour (1/2 cup)
- Red Onion
- Spring Onion
- Ginger (2 tbsp)
- Coriander (Handful)
- Fiery Primal Sauce (1/2 cup)
Fiery Primal Sauce
- Sriracha Sauce (50ml)
- Fish Sauce (3 tbsp)
- Chilli Flakes (2 tbsp)
- Olive Oil (5 tbsp)
- Honey (2 tbsp)
- Sweet Chilli Homemade Sauce (3 tbsp)
- Apple Cider Vinegar (3 tbsp)
- Lime Juice (3 tbsp)
- Stevia (1 tsp)
Cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into fleurettes and coat in the flour. Then shallow fry in a saucepan.
Put it to one side (i put it on kitchen roll to dry out) and fry up the onions and spring onion. After about 3 minutes add back the cauliflower and then add the Fiery Primal Sauce. Cook for about 5 or 6 minutes, then garnish with ginger and cauliflower.
Fiery Primal Sauce
Now you can make this one of two ways, one - fully on fire, two - very warm!
Bring all the ingredients together. If you want to thicken it up, then add either glucomannan or gelatine at the end. The ingredients above is for the full fiery version, or use the below for very warm.
I make my own Sriracha Sauce (see recipe) or you can buy it from M & S, but most supermarkets are now starting to stock it
