Who knew a biscuit recipe could so easily steal my heart? These smoked paprika flavoured low carb and keto-friendly biscuits are a delicious and easy option for dipping into your favourite dips.
- Milled flaxseed (200g)
- Chia seeds (75g)
- Smoked paprika (2 tsp)
- Cumin seeds (1 tsp)
- Onion salt (1-2 large pinches)
- Black pepper (10-12 grinds)
- Water (300ml)
- Olive oil (For parchment paper)
Begin by preheating your oven to 180c.
Add all of the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix together. Add the water and mix again until all ingredients are wet and combined.
Smear a little olive oil on to parchment paper and then spread out the mixture.
To flatten the mixture, add another sheet of parchment paper on top of the mixture and flatten/roll out with your hands or a rolling pin. I like my crackers to be 2-4mm thick.
Once flattened, remove the top piece of parchment paper. Place the crackers onto a baking tray - or pizza tray - and pop in the middle of the oven to bake for 35-40 minutes (if you rolled them thinner, reduce the cooking time a little). Once golden, remove them from the oven and leave to cool slightly before serving.
