So let us tell you, hot chocolate is definitely something you do not need to give up. Thanks to this recipe you can make yourself a deliciously rich and dark hot chocolate drink - minus the CARBS and high sugar content! All you need are four ingredients and you'll soon find yourself in a soft blanket of hot chocolate goodness. You know one of the best things about Primal cooking? You can leave out the ingredients that provide you with nothing but empty calories and simply replace them with goodness. Our Primal hot chocolate recipe isn't just your average mug of steamy, rich, hot chocolate. Instead, we've created a superfood hot chocolate that has a delicious combination of raw cacao, turmeric (a healing spice), cinnamon and almond milk.


Superfood Hot Chocolate

  • Almond milk (2 cups)
  • Raw cacao powder (3 tbsp)
  • Turmeric (1/8 tsp)
  • Cinnamon (1/4 tsp)


Add all of your ingredients to a pan and mix until everything is combined.
Warm the pan and leave it to gently simmer for a few minutes until hot.
Pour into two mugs and enjoy.
