The key thing to getting your family to enjoy more of the super healthy vegetable that is the Brussel Sprout, is to find different way to prepare it. You will find several recipes for it on the Primal Living app, but this one is certainly a winner in my home (Steve B).


  • Brussel Sprouts (500g)
  • Chorizo or Bacon (50g chopped)
  • Onion (one)
  • Vanilla (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)
  • Olive Oil (drizzle)
  • Chilli (optional)
  • Cream (1/2 cup)

Fry the chorizo and onion together with olive oil and add chilli flakes (or fresh chilli, or both!).

While its frying, half the sprouts and boil for about 5 to 10 minutes, then take out and put in frying pan with onions and chorizo. Fry for about 5 minutes and then add full double cream (organic of course) and sprinkle black pepper.
