It is hard to believe that this dish only contains 2 ingredients. It is creamy, decadent and incredibly simple to make, perfect for the whole family. The beauty of this dessert is that you can put your own twist on it too. You can add flavours such as mint, orange, vanilla or for a little kick, try adding some chilli flakes. This is one recipe you will want to have waiting in your fridge at all times.


  • Full Fat Coconut Milk (400ml)
  • 85% chocolate, melted (120g)


In a glass bowl, over simmering water, melt your chocolate (alternatively you can do this in the microwave).

In another glass or metal bowl, pour in the coconut milk. Whisk it up for about 30 seconds, to get lots of air in to it.

Carefully pour the melted chocolate in to the coconut milk, continually whisking.

If you would like to add any additional flavours then please do so now.

Continue to whisk until all combined, thick and smooth. The more you whisk, the better the mousse texture will be.

Pour in to ramekins and decorate.

Pop in the fridge for at least 3 hrs until it is set.
